Jerusalem from Sharm el Sheikh

Jerusalem and Dead Sea excursion from Sharm el Sheikh to the holiest location on earth and one of the oldest cities in the world,

It is considered holy to the three major Abraham religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

We will start from Eilat and drive along the Arava Valley toward the Dead Sea the deepest point on earth

which is more than 400 meters below sea level, For 1 to 1 ½ hours,

we will enjoy the marvelous experience of floating (not swimming) in its unique water,

which contains an unusual amount of healthy minerals,

Also, we can shop and explore the Dead Sea’s natural beauty products such as salts, mud, lotions, and facial masks.

The Holy City, Jerusalem, will thereafter be our destination,

On the drive to Jerusalem, we will pass by the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery site at Qumran,

the Judean Valley, and Jericho, where we can view some wandering Bedouin tribes.

Upon your arrival in Jerusalem, you will be met by our tour representative who will accompany you through your tour up until the end of Bethlehem.

Reaching Jerusalem we start with a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives a good place for an introduction to the city and its history,

Old City in Jerusalem

Visit the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem’s Old City to witness the final remains of the Jewish Temple, then proceed via the “Path of Sorrow” or “Via Del Arosa” to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where, in accordance with Christian belief, Jesus was crucified and buried.

Bethlehem

We then go to Bethlehem, where we will have lunch and shop at the gift stores.

Next visit the Church of Nativity which is the central pilgrimage destination for all Christians because Jesus Christ was born there.

Back to Sharm El Sheikh.
